Roaring New Year's Eve Party

Welcome to HallowCon's Roaring New Year's Eve Party December 31st, 2009

Reservations Hotel Info		Time is running out to get your reservations in for New Year's Eve. Also, make sure you reserve your room by Dec. 1st to get our group rate of $55.00. When I first came up with this idea, in 2007, I thought it would be nice to have a package deal type New Year's Eve party, with the party, room and breakfast, that didn't cost an arm and a leg like most places charge, and most of us can't afford. Also, that it would be restricted to convention members for two reasons. One is that most of us would know each other and the other is that we wouldn't have to contend with the rough and rowdy types that attend other public functions. It's only fifteen days till the deadline to make reservations, on December 1st, and we still only have 15. To make this feasible and a yearly function we need, at the very least, 40 to cover the cost of the decorations, party favors, beer, liquor, champagne and hors d’ourvres, not to mention the function space. Reservations are $20 per person and must be submitted no later than December 1st, 2009. There will be no walk-ins at the door, RSVP only. All reservations postmarked after December 1st or after the 120 person limit is filled will be returned, so get your reservations in early. Our party will be from 8:00PM until 2:00AM. Hors D’ourvres, Beer, Full Bar with Champagne at midnight as well as Party Favors will be provided. We have a block of rooms for $55.00 per night for Kings and Double Doubles. These must also be reserved no later than December 1st, 2009. We will post on our web site when we reach our capacity. Our facilities will be decorated in “Prohibition Era Speak Easy” style with all drinks and hors d’ourvres dating from the Prohibition Era. If you would like to dress in theme, check out some of the older movies such as “The Roaring Twenties” or “Angels with Dirty Faces” with Humphrey Bogart and James Cagney.
